Karen brings 12 years of school governance experience gained at one of the other schools within the Trust, where she was Vice Chair and then for the last 3 years, the Chair. Karen has a close connection with the school, as all of her children have attended the school, with the youngest still there. She is passionate about the importance of a broad and high-quality education for all as a critical foundation for future success and well-being.

Karen is an experienced NHS manager, and brings a strong public sector ethos along with a wide range of skills and experience.
