Richard is an experienced school leader and consultant with a wealth of experience working in schools across the country. Growing up in a disadvantaged community, he experienced first-hand the barriers many young people face in accessing opportunity, shaping his lifelong commitment to education as a driver of social mobility and transformation.

Through his work with schools nationwide, Richard has supported pupils, staff, and leadership teams to address the link between behaviour, wellbeing, and academic success. As a Governor at Charter North, he brings strategic expertise and a strong understanding of the challenges faced by school communities. He is passionate about giving back to pupils from similar backgrounds to his own and is committed to promoting inclusion, strong pastoral care, pupil wellbeing, high achievement, and high expectations for all.

Richard believes that with the right support, guidance, and opportunities, education can have a truly transformative impact on young people’s life chances and is proud to contribute to Charter North’s mission to improve outcomes for every pupil.
