Pupils enjoy drumming, theatre workshops and gardening in 'CR8 week' as The Charter School celebrates Shakespeare
This week sees an action packed programme of creative and inspiring activities for all pupils in KS3. Our theme for 'CR8 Week' this year is a celebration of ‘Shakespeare’. Pupils are working together with their teachers in groups to create their own interpretive performances/artistic outcomes. They are also participating in a variety of creative workshops and activities with external practitioners, such as Circolumbia, Hip Hop Shakespeare, Eastsides’s African Drumming and Box Clever Theatre for Young People. Year 8 pupils have started work to create a new 'Reading garden' for pupils to enjoy from September.
