Religious Studies

Pupils in Year 7 begin by exploring key philosophical and religious questions about God, life and what we really know. They then examine the key elements or ‘ingredients’ of world religions, through a study of the beliefs and practices of Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism and Sikhism. Through these religions, they will explore philosophical and ethical questions around issues such as miracles, life after death and equality.

In all modules, pupils have the opportunity to advance their analytical and evaluative skills, as well as develop better understanding of their own beliefs about life’s biggest questions.
