The Charter School North Dulwich underwent its most recent Ofsted inspection in May 2026, under Ofsted's new inspection framework.
The school met the safeguarding standard, and was judged Exceptional in two areas, inclusion and post-16 provision, with a Strong standard rating across achievement, attendance and behaviour, curriculum and teaching, leadership and governance, and personal development and wellbeing.Ofsted has changed how it grades schools. There is no longer a single overall judgement. Instead, each area of a school's provision is graded separately, using five categories: Exceptional, Strong standard, Expected standard, Needs attention and Urgent improvement. Exceptional is the highest grade, awarded in only 1 to 3% of inspections nationally, and identifies practice that is among the best in the country. Strong standard is the next highest grade and broadly aligns with what parents may previously have understood as "Outstanding."You can access the report via the Ofsted website, or download the PDF of the report below.
