Information for Parents

Please find below an outline of what your children can expect during your child's isolation period

Remote Education for Self-Isolating Students/ Students Who Are Ill

  • If your child normally attends the in-school provision but is not in school because they are self-isolating, your child will need to complete the work set at the usual time.
  • Live lessons are recorded so that students who are unable to attend due to illness (confirmed by the parent) can catch up once they have recovered and are fit to attend school again.
  • If your child is having difficulty with work during this period, they should contact the class teacher or their Year Leader by email or through Teams.

Using Microsoft Teams

Virtual Learning for all students will be set using Microsoft Teams, an interactive online learning platform which allows teachers to create resources for students to access at home and then set assignments for them to hand on.

You'll find a Guide to accessing MS Teams at the bottom of this page or watch the video below.

If students have any issues accessing the online learning resources, please contact your teacher directly via email. For example, if you have forgotten your passwords simply email the teacher and they can reset them.

If you do not have access to a computer and the Internet then we need to know as soon as possible. Please email info@charternorthdulwich.org.uk.

If you have any questions regarding access to Virtual Learning resources, please email this address too.
