Sport is a vital aspect of a Charter education; it builds resilience and leadership skills while forming firm friendships through shared team spirit.

We run an inclusive and varied programme to suit all abilities and interests, helping students discover the sports that suit them and develop an enduring commitment to an active lifestyle. Extensive sports provision is matched by exceptional facilities and dedicated teachers and coaches.

We have strong links with a range of local sports clubs in  athletics, cricket, tennis, running, cycling, football and rugby as well as national institutions such as the MCC the RFU, the ASA and the Herne Hill Velodrome.

School teams are run on a termly basis and we have some exceptional students who compete nationally and regionally in a range of sports including swimming, rowing, football and netball. Facilities include an outdoor gym, two outdoor ball courts (one is covered), a large indoor sports hall and playing fields.

I particularly enjoy after school clubs such as football. We get to play on the newly installed Astro pitch. I get to play with my friends and year 13 which challenging.
