After a 4-year hiatus, the Year 9 Brussels trip was back in full swing this year! From Mini-Europe to the European Parliament, students explored the city (and the continent) to discover its rich culture, geography and history, and practise their French in situ. The highlights include a tour of the Comic book painted walls dotted around town, a visit to a chocolate maker to make our own pralines, and a visit to the EU Parlamentarium where students acted as Members of Parliament to better understand the ins and outs of law making, here, there, and everywhere. Of course, this was powered by a reasonable amount of Belgian fries, waffles, and chocolates, for good measure!
