It’s been a busy and successful summer for Charter Athletics, with students competing at Southwark, London, and even National level. A huge well done to everyone who represented the school.

Highlights include:

• Tolu (Y9) – Dominated the Southwark U14 100m and 200m, earning medals in all three sprint events at the London Championships. He now goes on to represent London at the National Junior Championships.
• Max (Y9) – Won Javelin at Southwark, then took Bronze at the London Championships, with potential for Nationals.
• Astrid (Y8) – Took Silver in High Jump at Southwark with 1.41m, and placed 5th at the London Championships.
• Elsa (Y8) – Won Long Jump at Southwark and achieved a PB of 4.22m to place 5th at London level.
• U13 Junior Boys – A standout year, finishing 29th nationally and qualifying for the B Finals. Special mentions to Felix, Isaiah, Osian, Alexander, Laurie, Thomas and Tom for placing in their events.
