In May, one of our Year 13 student's Alex O gave two outstanding presentations on Space Settlement Design to students and staff across the school, aiming to raise funds for a trip to NASA as part of the International Space Settlement Design Competition.

“Genuinely one of the best student presentations I have seen,” said Mr Gellett, with Mr Pepper echoing his praise.

Alex’s dedication has been recognised nationally—she was invited to bypass a competition round and advance directly to the international stage. Having competed in this challenge since Year 7, Alex is thrilled to have the opportunity to take part in the international round at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
