In a dazzling showcase of talent, students from The Charter School North Dulwich took part in the Lighthouse School of Speech, Drama & Communication's Oscar Night at Hatcham House on Wednesday, December 20th 2023.

The evening was a celebration of creativity and performance as each student took centre stage to deliver monologues, speeches, and songs from their LAMDA exams.

The highlight of the night was the presentation of Oscars to each participant by LAMDA Examiner, Angie Sims. With a touch of glamour and a sprinkle of stardust, the students were rewarded for their hard work and dedication.

Parents and students alike enjoyed the joyous occasion, creating memories that will undoubtedly be cherished for years to come.

Adding an extra dose of cheer to the festivities, Annika emerged as a shining star, not only receiving an Oscar but also being presented with the prestigious Grade 7 Acting Certificate and Medal. Her remarkable achievement included an impressive high distinction, scoring an impressive 91 out of 100 – a truly fabulous result that deserves every bit of applause.

Congratulations to all the performers. The future looks bright for these budding stars, and we can't wait to see what the next act holds for them.
