On 25th March, our Year 7 students attended a vibrant concert at the Barbican Centre, featuring the London Symphony Orchestra’s performance of Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from West Side Story. Presenter Rachel Leach brought the music to life with clear and engaging explanations, encouraging students to take part by singing, clicking, and even shouting "mambo" with the orchestra.

The day was rounded off with a picnic by the lake, making it a memorable outing that combined music, learning, and fun.
